Hong Kong & China Gas Co has reported a steady growth in its gas business and a surge in green energy, with a core operating profit of HK$3,186 million in the first half of 2024, up 2% from the previous year. Despite global economic challenges, the company saw a 7% increase in mainland city-gas sales and strong growth in its green energy and extended businesses.
