Honda Partners with Nissan on Future SDV Technologies

Honda Motor Company (HMC) has released an update.

Honda Motor Co., Ltd. has announced a partnership with Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. to conduct joint research on next-generation software-defined vehicle (SDV) platforms, focusing on vehicle intelligence and electrification. The collaboration, based on a memorandum of understanding, aims to leverage both companies’ strengths to accelerate progress towards a carbon-neutral and accident-free society. Additionally, they are exploring potential synergies in technologies such as autonomous driving, connectivity, and AI to create competitive advantages.
