Hon Hai Precision Industry (HNHPF) has released an update.
Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd., through its subsidiaries Cloud Network Technology Singapore Pte. Ltd. and Cloud Network Technology USA Inc., has made significant investments in FII AMC MEXICO S. DE R.L. DE C.V. and Foxconn Assembly LLC. The transactions, valued at USD 241.2 million and USD 253 million respectively, were conducted for long-term investment purposes and resulted in near total ownership in the acquired companies. These strategic acquisitions were unanimously approved by the board on August 21, 2024, with no dissenting opinions from directors and without the need for external brokerage services.
