Helix Exploration Plc has initiated drilling operations at the Clink #1 well in Montana, aiming to explore helium deposits in the Amsden, Charles, and Flathead formations, with a secondary project, Rudyard, targeting shallower reservoirs. The drilling campaign is part of an accelerated development timeline, with the company expressing optimism for potential production and resource classification upgrades following extended flow tests. This marks an important step for Helix, which moved from IPO to drilling in under four months, as they work towards beginning helium production by the end of 2025.
