Hdfc Bank (HDB) has released an update.
HDFC Bank has been slapped with a Rs.1.59 crore penalty by the Excise and Taxation Officer of Haryana for discrepancies related to tax payments and input tax credit during the financial year 2018-19. The total financial impact on the bank, including tax, interest, and penalty, amounts to Rs.31.25 crore. HDFC Bank is presently considering legal avenues, including filing an appeal against the order.
