Hawaiian Holdings (HA) has released an update.
Hawaiian Holdings, Inc. announced its merger with Alaska Air Group, Inc., through which Hawaiian will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Alaska. A special meeting of Hawaiian’s stockholders resulted in approval of the merger agreement and the compensation for Hawaiian’s executive officers related to the merger. The successful vote was held on February 16, 2024, with a significant majority in favor, and the company subsequently issued a press release confirming the stockholders’ support for the transaction.
