Hartford Financial Announces Board Resignation and New Appointment

Hartford Financial (HIG) has shared an update.

Edmund Reese has resigned from the board of The Hartford Financial Services Group, with no disagreements influencing his decision. Kathleen Winters will replace him, starting July 1, 2024, and will also join the Board’s Audit and Finance Committees. She qualifies as an independent director and will receive a $190,000 equity grant, a $115,000 cash retainer, and additional benefits as outlined in the company’s proxy statement. The company announced these changes in a recent press release.
