Guild Esports Charges Into Esports World Cup

Guild Esports (GB:GILD) has released an update.

Guild Esports has announced the re-formation of its Apex Legends team, with the newly signed team ‘Serenity’ set to represent the company in the prestigious Esports World Cup for a chance to win a share of the $2m prize pool. Having qualified for the Club Championship, Guild Esports will also compete in ESL R1 sim racing, fulfilling the requirement to participate in the cross-game competition with a $20 million team prize pool. The company, co-owned by David Beckham, is poised to capitalize on the team’s talent in upcoming major international tournaments and the booming popularity of Apex Legends, which boasts 18 million active monthly players.
