Guan Chao Holdings Limited has announced an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) scheduled for October 17, 2024, to discuss and possibly approve a rights issue of up to 432 million ordinary shares at HK$0.40 each. The rights issue will allow current shareholders to purchase additional shares in a specific ratio, excluding non-qualifying shareholders based on legal or regulatory reasons. The company has also confirmed a Placing Agreement related to the rights issue, subject to certain conditions including approval from The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.
