Grupo Televisa Faces Revenue Drop But Boosts Net Income

Grupo Televisa, S.A.B. (TV) has released an update.

Grupo Televisa, S.A.B. announced a 6.4% drop in revenue and a 4.7% fall in operating segment income for the third quarter of 2024, attributed mainly to a significant decrease in revenue from its Sky segment. Despite these declines, the company reported a notable improvement in net income, turning around from a loss last year, due to increased operating income and reduced expenses. Additionally, Televisa expanded its fiber-to-the-home network and improved its broadband subscriber base, reflecting a focus on enhancing service offerings.
