Greenbriar Capital (TSE:GRB) has released an update.
Greenbriar Capital Corp. is progressing with the 160MWdc Montalva solar project, having finalized a revised Power Purchase and Operating Agreement (PPOA) with PREPA, which is now awaiting approval from the Puerto Rico Energy Bureau. This step comes after a settlement related to the project’s previous approval issues in 2020, and the company remains focused on achieving a successful outcome. The project advances outside of the current RFP process, based on a settlement with PREPA following the Federal Oversight & Management Board’s refusal to approve several renewable projects.
