Great Eastern Awaits Public Float Restoration

Great Eastern Holdings Limited (SG:G07) has released an update.

Great Eastern Holdings Limited has been granted an extension to restore its public float after failing to meet the Singapore Exchange’s minimum requirement of having at least 10% of its shares held by the public, resulting in a suspension of trading. The suspension followed a voluntary unconditional general offer by Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited for the company’s shares, with non-assenting shareholders given until October 23, 2024, to exercise their rights to sell on the same terms.
