Grafton Group plc successfully held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on May 2, 2024, with all proposed resolutions passing except for the shareholder resolution regarding the impact of share buybacks on earnings per share, which was rejected in line with the Board’s recommendations. The company’s directors were re-elected, and it was agreed to retain PricewaterhouseCoopers as auditors, among other approved agenda items. In response to the significant minority vote on the share buyback resolution, the Board plans to engage with those shareholders to address their concerns.
