Glencore (GB:GLEN) has released an update.
Glencore PLC has successfully passed all resolutions during its 2024 Annual General Meeting, with special resolutions 2, 16, 17, and 18, and ordinary resolutions 1 through 15, all receiving majority support from shareholders. Notably, the approval of the Company’s capital contribution reserves reduction by US$1.6 billion to be repaid to shareholders was nearly unanimous. Additionally, the Company’s 2024-2026 Climate Action Transition Plan was approved, showcasing Glencore’s commitment to decarbonization and alignment with the Paris Agreement goals.
