Gemfields Group Limited has announced the issuance of 667,000 new ordinary shares following the exercise of share options by its employees, with trading on AIM and the JSE expected to commence around July 5, 2024. The addition of these new shares brings the total number of Ordinary Shares to 1,167,362,130, each with one vote, establishing the total voting rights count for shareholders. Gemfields, a leader in the mining and marketing of colored gemstones, operates major mines and holds interests in various gemstone licenses across Africa.
