Furukawa Co., Ltd. has announced its commitment to reducing CO2 emissions by 25% by 2030 from the 2023 levels, with an ultimate goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. The company plans to invest around ¥2 billion, funded by the sale of strategic shareholdings, to transition to electric forklifts, more efficient energy systems, and renewable energy sources.
