Frontier IP Group Plc has announced that its portfolio company, GraphEnergyTech, has secured a £1 million investment from Aramco Ventures to accelerate the development of graphene electrodes for solar cells and other applications. This funding marks GraphEnergyTech’s first external equity round and will contribute to replacing silver in solar cells, thus addressing the global scarcity and environmental issues related to silver mining.
