Frontier Energy Limited is strategically set to address the anticipated energy shortages in Western Australia, with its Waroona Renewable Energy Project offering 120MW solar power and 80MW battery storage. The Australian Energy Market Operator forecasts significant power deficits starting in 2027, presenting a pressing need for additional renewable energy sources as coal-fired plants retire. Frontier’s project is timely, as it’s expected to start production in the 2026/27 capacity year, and there’s potential for further expansion to meet the region’s growing energy demands.
