Fortis (TSE:FTS) has released an update.
Fortis Inc. has entered into a second amending agreement with a consortium of lenders led by The Bank of Nova Scotia to revise certain provisions of their existing credit agreement. The amendment, effective from June 6, 2024, includes an extension fee and confirms that no default has occurred, while also ensuring that all previous representations and warranties made by Fortis Inc. remain true and unchanged. The agreement solidifies the credit terms and asserts the full force and effect of the amended credit agreement.
