Their appointments come as part of a strategic response to a legal action that the company faced, which also led to the creation of a Strategic Committee and the expiration of a stockholder rights agreement. The legal action has been dismissed as moot, with the company agreeing to pay $1.5 million in attorneys’ fees to settle the claims.
