Flowers Foods, Inc., headquartered in Thomasville, Ga., is one of the largest producers of packaged bakery foods in the United States, known for brands like Nature’s Own and Wonder.

In its recent earnings report, Flowers Foods announced a decrease in net sales by 1.6% for the fourth quarter of 2024, totaling $1.111 billion, while net income saw a significant increase of 20.9%, reaching $43.1 million. For the full fiscal year, the company reported a slight rise in net sales by 0.2%, amounting to $5.103 billion, with net income doubling to $248.1 million.

Key financial metrics indicate adjusted net income increased 8.7% to $46.4 million for the fourth quarter, and adjusted EBITDA rose by 6.3% to $102.4 million. For the fiscal year, adjusted net income was up by 6.0% to $271.6 million, while EBITDA grew 7.3% to $538.5 million. The company highlighted cost savings initiatives and the benefits from the acquisition of Papa Pita as drivers for these improvements.
