Flexsteel (FLXS) just unveiled an update.
Flexsteel Industries, Inc. has announced Derek P. Schmidt as their new CEO starting July 1, 2024, after the current CEO, Jerald K. Dittmer, steps down on June 30, 2024. Schmidt, with a substantial background in finance and management across various industries, will also continue as President and serve on the Board of Directors. His comprehensive experience includes over a decade in the furniture industry and previous financial leadership roles in companies like Crescent Electric Supply Co. and HNI Corporation. As part of his compensation, Schmidt will be eligible for a base salary, restricted stock units, cash incentives, and participation in the long-term incentive program.
