FirstGroup plc has recently executed a share buyback, purchasing 197,665 of its own ordinary shares at an average price of 159.80 pence per share. Post-acquisition, the company now holds over 128 million shares in treasury, while the total number of shares in issue stands at 621.78 million, excluding those held in treasury. Shareholders may use this information to assess their stake in the company as per the FCA’s Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
