First Pacific Co. reports a robust first-half financial performance for 2024 by its associated company, Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (MPIC), with a 46.3% economic interest. MPIC’s unaudited consolidated financial results show a substantial increase in net income to PHP 16.77 billion, up from PHP 13.13 billion the previous year, and a total comprehensive income of PHP 16.50 billion. This positive outcome reflects higher operating revenues and contributions from equity method investees.
