First Majestic Silver (TSE:FR) has released an update.
First Majestic Silver Corp. reported a production of 5.2 million silver equivalent ounces and a decline in quarterly revenues to $106.0 million in Q1 2024, attributed mainly to the temporary halt at Jerritt Canyon Gold Mine. Despite reduced revenue, the company saw an improvement in mine operating earnings and has announced a quarterly dividend payment for shareholders. With a focus on improved production in the second half of 2024, First Majestic maintains a strong cash balance and anticipates advancements due to higher ore grades and increased throughput rates.
