First Lithium Ltd is advancing its Blakala Lithium Project in Mali with concurrent metallurgical test work and a maiden JORC resource estimate expected by June 2024. The company is comparing recovery rates with the recently sold $1.3 billion Leo Lithium project and is raising capital through a rights issue to fund its upcoming phase 2 drilling program. Amidst the excitement of its pending assays and metallurgical results, First Lithium is also focused on sustainable development and community impact in their lithium exploration efforts.
