First Atlantic Nickel Corp. has secured drilling permits for its Atlantic Nickel Project, aiming to tap into multiple nickel zones along a 30 km district trend in central Newfoundland. The company is gearing up for a 5,000 meter drill program, bolstered by road upgrades to facilitate access and reduce costs. Emphasizing the environmental benefits, the firm plans to use awaruite, a nickel-iron alloy, for a cleaner, smelting-free nickel production process to support North American industries.
