Fifth Third Bancorp Enhances Executive Compensation Packages

Fifth Third Bancorp (FITB) has released an update.

Fifth Third Bancorp’s Human Capital and Compensation Committee has decided to boost the pay for two of its top executives. Bryan D. Preston, the CFO, will now earn a base salary of $625,000 with the potential for equal annual variable compensation, and long-term incentives worth $1.25 million. Jamie C. Leonard, the COO, will receive a base salary of $725,000, with variable compensation at 125% of his base salary, and his long-term incentive target is set at $2.5 million. These changes are in effect from February 12, 2024.
