Ferguson PLC to Transition to US-Based Entity

Ferguson PLC (FERG) has released an update.

Ferguson PLC shareholders have overwhelmingly approved a corporate restructuring plan to establish the company’s parent corporation in the United States, with a merger set to be finalized on August 1, 2024. The company’s UK listing will be canceled, and the newly formed US-based entity, New TopCo, will begin trading on both the New York Stock Exchange and the London Stock Exchange under the ticker ‘FERG’. This shift aims to streamline operations and enhance value for shareholders as Ferguson continues to lead in the North American distribution market.
