OceanaGold Corporation has announced a tragic incident at its Didipio Mine in the Philippines, where an employee was fatally injured and could not be revived. The company has halted operations at the mine for 24 hours and is now prioritizing support for the family and co-workers of the deceased. An inquiry into the circumstances of the accident is currently in progress.
