Fairfax India Holdings Corporation has announced a significant management reshuffle with Prem Watsa stepping down as Chairman, to be replaced by Ben Watsa, and Gopalakrishnan Soundarajan ascending to CEO, effective July 1, 2024. The outgoing CEO, Chandran Ratnaswami, will transition to Executive Vice Chairman, continuing his involvement with the company’s investment strategies and operations. These leadership changes are part of a strategic succession plan aimed at sustaining the long-term growth of the company.
