China Evergrande Group (HK:3333) has released an update.
China Evergrande Group, currently in liquidation, has announced that the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) has penalized its subsidiary Hengda Real Estate, along with executive directors Mr. Hui Ka Yan and Mr. Qian Cheng, for violations of securities laws. Details of the breaches and penalties are detailed in the CSRC’s published Decision. Furthermore, trading of China Evergrande Group shares remains suspended since January 29, 2024, with shareholders advised to exercise caution.
