An announcement from Equity Residential (EQR) is now available.
Equity Residential has expanded its Board of Trustees from 9 to 11 members with the appointments of Ann C. Hoff and Nina P. Jones, who have been deemed independent according to New York Stock Exchange standards. Both appointees will serve on the Audit Committee, while Jones will also join the Corporate Governance Committee. They will receive annual compensation in cash and stock options, with Hoff earning an additional retainer for her Audit Committee role and Jones earning extra for her roles on both committees. The company will also provide them with indemnification agreements similar to those of other trustees and executives.
