Equinor ASA has announced the purchase of 2,347,779 own shares at an average price of NOK 290.1890 per share between June 17 and June 21, 2024, under the second tranche of its 2024 share buy-back program. The total number of shares bought back under this tranche has reached 12,962,779, averaging NOK 298.4806 per share, and Equinor now owns 2.99% of its share capital. These buy-backs are part of the company’s strategy to adjust its capital structure and share count.
