Dr. Whitney Haring-Smith has resigned from the board of directors effective immediately, with no disputes cited regarding the company’s operations or policies. The following day, Michael Crowe, a seasoned professional from the medical device industry, was appointed to the board. Crowe’s extensive background includes executive roles at several major firms and he holds an engineering degree and an MBA. He will receive standard compensation for non-executive directors, including an annual cash fee and a stock option award, alongside an indemnity agreement for his role. The company has publicly announced these board changes.
