The ZEPH2 consortium, including Entech SA, has completed design studies for a revolutionary Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) boasting a 50-70% reduction in carbon emissions compared to traditional diesel-powered ships, through a hybrid hydrogen propulsion system. This project aligns with France’s increasing focus on renewable energy and presents a significant leap in the maritime industry’s move towards decarbonization. The vessel is set to save approximately 670 tonnes of CO2eq annually and contributes to the development of a marine hydrogen competitiveness cluster in France.
