Ensurge Advances in US DoE Micro Battery Competition

Ensurge Micropower (ENMPF) has released an update.

Ensurge Micropower has recently completed phase 2 of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Micro battery design competition by shipping a variety of coin cells and multilayer stacked batteries. These submissions, built on a 10um stainless steel substrate, demonstrate the company’s advancements in battery performance and manufacturing maturity. Last year, Ensurge was a phase 1 finalist and received a $75,000 award from the US DoE for their innovative solid-state lithium microbattery technology.
