EnQuest PLC has announced the purchase of 316,077 of its own ordinary shares at a weighted average price of 12.72 GBp each, which will be held in Treasury for the future use of the Company’s Employee Benefit Trust. Following this transaction, EnQuest reports a total of 1,890,924,339 ordinary shares in issue, excluding the Treasury shares, maintaining the total voting rights within the company. This move is part of a share repurchase programme initiated earlier this year on April 29.
