Enquest (GB:ENQ) has released an update.
EnQuest PLC has repurchased 83,211 of its ordinary shares on 12 July 2024, as part of an ongoing share repurchase programme initiated on 29 April 2024. The company has so far bought back 16,495,307 shares at a total cost of £2,388,723.64, which are to be held in treasury with the intention of issuing them to the Employee Benefit Trust. After the first 25 million shares are secured, any additional repurchased shares will be cancelled, impacting the company’s total voting rights.
