ENGIE, through its joint venture Ocean Winds, has secured a 250 MW floating offshore wind project in the Mediterranean, expected to produce 1 TWh of renewable electricity annually to power approximately 500,000 homes. This initiative enhances ENGIE’s role in France’s offshore wind sector and aligns with its commitment to advancing the energy transition in Europe. Ocean Winds now boasts a global portfolio of 18.8 GW in various stages of development.
