ENEOS Holdings (JP:5020) has released an update.
ENEOS Holdings subsidiary JX Advanced Metals has agreed to sell a 19% stake in SCM Minera Lumina Copper Chile, operator of the Caserones Copper Mine, to Lundin Mining’s subsidiary, with this transaction increasing Lundin’s ownership to 70%. The move is part of ENEOS’s strategy to focus on more profitable sectors, such as semiconductor materials, and aligns with its Long-Term Vision 2040 for sustainable growth. ENEOS does not anticipate the share transfer to materially affect its consolidated earnings for the fiscal year ending in March 2025.
