The deal involves an initial purchase and a commitment to acquire five more units, enhancing Uruguay’s defense capabilities and border control efficiency. The A-29 Super Tucano is recognized globally for its operational flexibility and cost-effectiveness, with over 260 orders and 570,000 flight hours logged, evidencing its growing popularity among air forces worldwide.
