Element 25 Limited has secured a 35-acre site in Louisiana, USA, for its pioneering high-purity manganese sulphate monohydrate (HPMSM) refinery, through a binding term sheet with Veolia North America. The site’s proximity to essential services and a sulphuric acid facility is crucial for the project’s execution, with Element 25 working towards finalizing definitive agreements and obtaining project finance by August 2024. This strategic move is set to bolster the company’s position in supplying battery materials to the electric vehicle industry, with significant backing from General Motors and Stellantis N.V.
