Eiffage Wins Contract for German Green Energy Corridor

Eiffage (FR:FGR) has released an update.

Eiffage, together with De Romein Group, has secured a partnership contract to construct a 600-kilometre cable conduit system in Germany, aiming to transmit electricity from North Sea offshore wind farms to the Rhein-Main area. The project, which will run from 2028 to 2032, will enable the transmission of 8 GW of low-carbon energy, catering to the needs of nearly six million people in the region. This infrastructure development is part of a collaborative effort with German TSO Amprion GmbH to support the growing electricity demand with sustainable energy sources.
