The deal, valued at $1.7 million, allows the company to sidestep development costs exceeding $3 million and was negotiated at arm’s length despite sharing a common CFO with the acquired entity. An additional fee was paid to a finder, demonstrating the company’s commitment to expand its market presence and capabilities.
