Ecofin U.S. Renewables Infrastructure Trust Plc (RNEW) reported a diversified portfolio of 65 renewable energy assets with a 177 MW capacity and generated 152 GWh of clean electricity in the first half of 2024. However, the company’s NAV decreased to $89.8 million or 65 cents per share, and a managed wind-down of assets has been proposed after failing to find a buyer for the entire portfolio. Shareholders are to anticipate a strategic repaying of borrowings and capital returns during the asset sales process.
