An update from ECB Bancorp, Inc. (ECBK) is now available.
Brandon N. Lavertu has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of ECB Bancorp, Inc. and Everett Co-operative Bank, effective July 17, 2024. Holding substantial financial leadership roles previously, Lavertu is stepping up from his Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer positions, bringing his expertise to oversee the financial and accounting operations of the institutions. John A. Citrano will continue as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer post-Lavertu’s promotion, which comes without any familial or under-the-table arrangements, and isn’t tied to any new or amended contracts or financial awards. Lavertu does, however, have a pre-existing change in control agreement that ensures certain severance benefits should control of the company change.
