EC World Real Estate Investment Trust has been actively managing its financial and legal affairs, including appointing KPMG Services as a financial adviser and successfully receiving a waiver for delaying its annual general meeting. The REIT has also been dealing with the imposition of unauthorized mortgages over certain properties and has initiated lawsuits in the PRC to revoke these mortgages. These developments are part of a series of announcements made from February to May 2024, highlighting the ongoing management efforts to address these challenges.
