Dynavax Secures New Sublease Agreement Amidst Zymergen’s Bankruptcy

An update from Dynavax Technologies Corp. (DVAX) is now available.

Dynavax Technologies Corporation has transitioned from a sublease with Zymergen Inc. to a new agreement with Metagenomi, Inc. following Zymergen’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing. Effective March 7, 2024, Metagenomi will sublease approximately 75,662 square feet of space in Emeryville, California at an initial rate of $493,354.08 per month with a 50% discount until June 30, 2024, and scheduled annual increases thereafter. The sublease, which includes certain operating expenses and taxes, will last until March 31, 2031, aligning with Dynavax’s master lease terms.
