DS Smith Sees JPMorgan Raise Voting Stake

DS Smith (GB:SMDS) has released an update.

DS Smith PLC has announced a major change in its shareholder structure, with JPMorgan Chase & Co. acquiring additional voting rights, crossing the notification threshold on July 1, 2024. The investment bank now holds a total of 5.306% of voting rights within the company, up from the previous notification of 5.096%. This move reflects JPMorgan’s increasing interest and possibly a strategic position in the UK-based packaging company.
